What is Non-Invasive Prenatal Test (NIPT)

Testing for potential fetal abnormalities. This testing analyses small fragments of DNA that are circulating in a pregnant woman’s blood. This testing can be provided to your surrogate mother. As dealing with Delivering Dreams Agency your surrogate will receive constant  medical support.

NIPT is most often used to look for chromosomal disorders that are caused by the presence of an extra or missing copy (aneuploidy) of a chromosome.

NIPT may include screening for additional chromosomal disorders that are caused by missing (deleted) or copied (duplicated) sections of a chromosome.

It can be performed with a single blood sample obtained from 10 weeks (gestational age) which is equivalent to being 8 weeks pregnant.
