Kirsten Wiig dealing with infertility
Many people can’t conceive babies because some people don’t get the gift which is fertility and nothing is different for our beloved Celebrities. Kirsten Wiig the famous American actress suffered infertility but luckily she chose the path of surrogacy. In an interview she said, ‘Emotionally, spiritually, and medically, it was probably the most difficult time in my life.’
Surrogacy is a method of assisted reproduction where intended parents work with a gestational surrogate who will carry and care for their baby(ies) until birth. Intended parents use surrogacy to start or grow their families when they can’t do so on their own.
Kirsten Wiig shared a valuable lesson with everyone dealing with infertility. According to CDC around 2% of all babies born in the United States of America were conceived using some assistance in reproduction which is a lot. In January she and her fiancé, actor and writer Avi Rothman, welcomed twins via surrogacy. Wiig said she formed a very strong connection with her surrogate and now wouldn’t ‘have had it any other way’.
Kirsten said that during her surrogacy journey, the negative thoughts lingered in her mind but luckily Kirsten stopped beating herself. Surrogacy is now considered to be one of the best alternative for conceiving babies through reproduction. Surrogacy completes families.
For those who have struggled with infertility, LGBT couples, and those with medical conditions that make pregnancy unsafe, surrogacy is often the answer to years of unsuccessful attempts to create a family.
